Benny Baroni, is one of Tim's buddies who hangs out at the hardware store, portrayed by Jimmy Labriola. Benny is a bit of a slacker. He is unemployed, mainly because he doesn't like to work. He makes money by gambling and betting on horse races. He does everything he can to get food for free, like coming to soup kitchens for the homeless, inviting himself to parties without bringing gifts or food but mainly by coming to the hardware store for the free coffee and donuts and never buying anything. He notoriously known as a freeloader - his trademark is drinking coffee and eating donuts.
